I am inspired by anarchist and feminist thought and the wild, beautiful power of our planet. I’m troubled by the unceasing violence and wanton destruction that capitalism is based on. 

When I’m reading bios I do like to know a bit about people’s backgrounds as they are manifestations of massive social forces that shape us all in unavoidable, significant ways. I’m a white, cis, queer Scottish woman from a working-class background. All this informs my work in direct and less readily quantifiable ways; my preoccupations, responsibilities, lacks and insights. 

I hope that my writing and moving image pieces contribute to a collective upsurge in liberatory thinking and ways of living.
